The jackal was eating from a white cloud as if it were fat. When he wanted to get down, he called to the hyena to catch him. He would share with her. The hyena caught him.
Now she ate up there until she was full. “Catch me well, brother!”
The jackal promised. He raised both arms. The hyena jumped. When she was almost upon him, he hopped aside and cried that a thorn had pricked him. She fell to the ground and was badly hurt.
